Yes. During our Public Beta, Sprout is completely free to use. We want to help as many plants as possible while we refine the experience.
How accurate is Sprout's advice?
Sprout is trained on horticultural knowledge covering thousands of common houseplants, balcony plants, and garden species — especially those popular in Indian homes. For most everyday problems (yellow leaves, pests, watering), it gives reliable guidance. For rare species or serious disease, Sprout will tell you honestly when it's unsure and suggest a nursery visit.
Can I send photos or voice notes?
Yes to both. A clear photo of the affected leaf or stem helps Sprout identify problems faster than text. Voice notes work too — just record and send, Sprout will understand you.
What languages does Sprout speak?
English and Hindi are fully supported. Sprout responds in whichever language you message in — Hinglish works perfectly too.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your conversations and photos stay private and are never shared or sold. We use your plant history only to give you better, more personalized advice. To clear your conversation history, type /clear in the chat. To request full data deletion, email us — we'll handle it within 48 hours.
